Ever since I dyed my hair blonde, I’ve had to take extra good care of it. If you go from brunette to blonde, your hair will get a little more coarse, but you can fix that with the right hair products! First of all, I think everyone should switch from regular shampoo to sulfate free shampoo, no matter what hair color you have, or even if you don’t dye your hair at all.
Speaking of hair DYE, I love when people spell it as “die.” Like, “What color should I die my hair?” HAHA! I DIE a little inside when I read it. (Pun intended.) Okay, enough with my humorous attempt.
When I got a Brazilian blowout two years ago, I had to use sulfate free shampoo for the time being, and I’ve never switched back! Honestly, sulfate free shampoo makes my hair SO much softer than shampoo with sulfate, which just dries your hair out. Now, I know you’re probably thinking, “she’s one of those organic people,” but I’m actually not a fan of organic anything. In fact, I hate the word “organic.” It makes me cringe. lol. But I AM a freak when it comes to hair. Below are the products that I love to use, and definitely recommend.
The Paul Mitchell products are a little more on the difficult side to find, but you can probably find them wherever you get your hair done. They are also pretty pricey, but I buy the big bottles so I don’t run out as quickly.
The Organix products are what I have at my parents house for when I’m home, and while they are much, much cheaper than the Paul Mitchell products, I sometimes actually prefer to use Organix. Either way, both are great products, and work the same wonders, just two completely different prices. I keep the Paul Mitchell at my apartment, and Organix at my parents house, so I use both!
It’s a 10 Miracle leave-in product is what I use right when I get out of the shower, and I like to squirt about 3 sprays of it in my hair. After I spray it, I brush my hair, let it sit for a few minutes, and then I begin to blow dry. (If I don’t blow dry my hair, I look like a frizz ball. Thanks to my Mexican Roots.)
