Today’s braid includes the french braid and dutch braid. Most people know how to french braid, but there’s confusion with dutch at times, so here’s a little explanation on how to do a dutch braid:
Separate your hair into 3 sections as if you were doing a normal braid, and when you cross each side over the middle, instead, you’re going to cross UNDER the middle. This will create a much thicker looking braid. Now for the french dutch braid, you’re going to start on any side of your head, and begin french braiding by taking more sections of hair each time, while crossing under the middle piece to create the dutch look.
Once you braid it all the way down, just wrap it into a bun with a few bobby pins, and you’re done!
