Can you believe my bachelorette party has already come and gone?! Or how about the fact that I get married NEXT SATURDAY?! Yeah, mind blown. lol. I hope you all enjoyed my snapchats over the weekend of our drunk selves, haha. I'm going to TRY and make a fun little video of the bachelorette weekend soon. I brought my little travel camera and captured what I could video wise, so I may have to stick my snapchat videos that I saved in there. lol.
So to get myself ready for the Bach party, I was treated to a bikini laser from Glow Med Spa Encino, which I had been wanting to do for soooo long, but kept putting it off because I figured it was going to hurt just as bad as when I did laser for my under arms. I did that about 6 years ago and it was JUST as painful as tattoo removal even while numbed (yes, I've had tattoo removal.) However, the bikini laser did not hurt AT ALL! I was honestly shocked. I don't know, but the numbing cream worked WONDERS. And I mean WONDERS. And it only took a total of maybe 60 seconds to do. The longest part was just sitting with the numbing cream, which is obviously worth it. Anyway, so since I was going to be in bikinis all weekend, I wanted to get that process started a week prior and I'm so glad I did! I already am excited to go in for my second treatment!
Now back to Palm Springs... We stayed in an AirBnb, which you can see the exact place we stayed HERE. It was such a cute house and close to downtown. Two of my bridesmaids are under age (cody's sister and my cousin,) so they couldn't go since we would be going out and didn't want to just leave them, but we still had a group of 8 for the weekend. Originally it was a group of 6 of us, but on Friday, we were surprised by our FAVORITE gay couple, Steven & Cory! Which you also probably saw on Snapchat, haha. Steven was our dance teacher when we were younger, then we worked together as dance teachers, and now he's basically the coordinator of my whole wedding. He helped me design my wedding dress, has pretty much decided all decor for the wedding, has met with our florist to decide on flowers and table linens, the bouquets, and SO much more. My mom has always told him he was going to be doing my wedding one day, and here we are, haha. (He'll be the one walking my mom down the aisle.) We went to a gay nightclub that night, and it was the funnest thing, ever! Seriously, I think I only want to go to gay clubs from now on, lol. We were like having dance battles with people and basically living life with all of the gays. It was great. hahaha.
Another thing we did one of the days was the Palm Springs Tram Way. It was PERFECT for a getaway from the intense heat, because it takes you to like the top of a mountain (8500 ft up,) and it drops like 20 degrees. It such a pretty view, you can get food and drink up there and stay however long you want. So obviously, yet another time we got drunk, and we were all probably the only drunk ones up there haha. We were wearing shirts, where mine said "I'm Getting Married," and everyone else's said "So We're Getting Drunk." So that kind of gave us a pass for how annoying we probably were. lol.
It was overall such a fun weekend with my favorite people! Already wishing I could do it over again!
