I was in Evanston, IL the past 4 days visiting my best friend/maid of honor/practically sister, Emily, for her birthday! She currently is a grad student at Northwestern University, so I got to explore her new home for the next 2 years this weekend. I flew into Chicago Friday night and we flew back home together last night for Thanksgiving. I’ve been to Chicago before, but I actually loved Evanston more! I’ve visited multiple cities and live in a city, so seeing a different type of lifestyle in a cute and quaint little town that is so different from “the city,” was kind of refreshing. Plus, I was dying over all of the fall colors…. oh, and was also dying because I was freezing my ass off. lol. (Don’t let Emily’s Sweater dress fool you… She took off her jacket, scarf, and gloves for the picture.) The amount of times I took my gloves off to take a picture of a cute house or street was probably more than I can count, and also made me realize I should get myself a pair of gloves that allow me to use my thumb on the iPhone. Anyway, have any of you been to Evanston?! Or what other cute towns do you know of that I should visit? Cody and I are planning a trip somewhere soon and we want some ideas!
