Ahhhh, Ice rolling: my favorite subject. Ok, but really. Ever since I started posting about my ice rolling obsession on snapchat, I've been asked multiple times, "what the fuck is that?" "what is ice rolling?" and so on. Well, it's literally the simplest "gadget," if you will, in the world, that has many benefits. I've talked about it briefly in a few different blog posts, but none of them were entirely on the ice roller, I just touched on it, so I wanted to dedicate this post entirely to the ice roller.
I wrote this next part on my "8 Tips To Make Wedding Planning Less Stressful" post, where I first introduced it on my blog: When I'm not at work and don't have to put makeup on for the day, I ice roll multiple times because it's actually kind of calming... and on days I do go to work, I use it before putting on my makeup to bring down any puffiness and redness from my face and to make my skin feel tighter. So for those days I'm home all day and do some wedding planning, I absolutely have this thing in one hand while either working on my wedding registry, scrolling through Pinterest ideas, looking for gifts, etc. Might as well work on that skin care routine for the wedding, right? Even haven written that post 5 months ago, I STILL am just as obsessed with my ice roller as I was then, and still recommend it. It's a GREAT addition to your skin care routine. To go a little more into detail about the benefits... using an ice roller reduces varicose veins, smooths wrinkles, strengthens collagen fibers, tightens pores, makes your face look more lifted, and I feel like it really enhances your cheekbones. (I go over that area a lot when ice rolling.)
A few months ago, I developed an allergic reaction to a medication, and the ice roller was in my hand multiple times throughout that day because my face and chest got SO red and I felt like I was on fire or sunburnt, lol, so literally, my first instinct was to grab my ice roller. It's also the first thing I grab when my allergies are acting up. My face gets so puffy and gross when this happens since I'm sneezing at least 10 times a minute PLUS I get a major headache, and ice rolling is known to help with migraines. Honestly, the benefits are endless! I will be doing a post soon on my more skin care tips, and ice rolling is first on my list of skin care steps.
Best of all? It's only ELEVEN DOLLARS!!
P.S. I'll be doing a bedroom Decor post VERY soon! )

I have never heard of this either. Sounds like it was super handy on your sunburn, that is the worst! Also how cute is your dog?!

Much like everyone else has commented, I have never heard of ice rolling- such an interesting concept! I get really bad migraines when the seasons change (mostly in the spring) and hate to medicate them so I will definitely have to remember this for a nice natural remedy, outside of the skin benefits you mentioned. Thanks for the enlightenment!!

I love learning about the cool products you use (totally into the watermelon moisturizer with the self tanning serum). When I saw the photo of you with the “ice roller” I definitely said to myself “WTF is that!? and low and behold, that was the headline of the article! I’m interested in trying out this ice rolling thing. Thank you!
