Wedding planning is in full swing now, guys... We are less than 5 months away from our wedding day!! Aaaaaaand I have officially said YES to the dress! But you'll obviously have to wait and see what it is. I've partnered up with Casablanca Bridal for my wedding dress and we couldn't be a better fit. They custom make their dresses and everything is made to measure. Meaning, if you love one of their dresses, they will make it perfectly for YOU and your measurements... AND it gets better - let's say when you're shopping, and you like the top half of one dress, but the bottom half of another, and want to change a few things as well.... YOU CAN. And that is exactly what I did. We are combining two dresses and changing some things here and there, so my dress is literally being made just for me. Pretty freakin cool, if you ask me!
So the other weekend, I went to their flagship store in Newport Beach to try on dresses and essentially design mine. The location is STUNNING, first of all, and their entire staff is so, so nice. (They do have over 600 authorized Casablanca retailers in the U.S, so you can check here to find one near you.) It was such a fun experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! Prior to my appointment, Amanda, who ended up helping me that day, emailed me and asked if I had a Pinterest board so she could get an idea for what dresses to have available for me. I loved pretty much every dress I tried on, but eventually knew exactly what I wanted to do for mine. Once that was decided and I said YES to the dress, Amanda asked me if Daniel and I had a special song, so I said "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers - she played it over the store speakers, and it was so sweet! Pretty soon, I'll have a sketched out version of my dress, and my fitting in July!
If you're in Southern California, You can make an appointment at their Flagship store in Newport, where I went. You won't regret it!

You barely got divorced from Cody, also your forever partner, and now you are getting married again? Hayley, you’re strong independent woman why do you need to be married so young?!
You don’t know anything about my previous marriage. I really don’t owe you an explanation, but we never had any business getting married, considering how rocky our relationship was prior to marriage. The first time we separated was our first year of marriage, FOUR YEARS AGO. I didn’t announce anything until much later. I shared a very minimal amount of information on my blog post about it…He and I are on good terms and hope the best for each other.
You also don’t know anything about my current relationship and our history. When you know, you know. Daniel and I have zero doubt, have known each h other since we were 13 years old, and if you haven’t experienced the “when you know, you know” thing, then I hope you do one day.
Cody and I knew for a very long time that we were not right for each other, but continued on anyway, because we had been together so long. He and I split amicably with absolutely no hate for each other. Daniel and I WANT to be married, we WANT to have kids… so we are getting married because we WANT TO. It’s a very different experience when you’re with who you’re meant to be with and who you feel God led you to be with.
You should just be happy for someone when they’re truly happy.
A sack and a pair of runners covered in mud would look good on you……….that man of yours is one lucky dude………
Good luck
