A little life update: I got a job in PR! And they are allowing me to work part time since I am still dancing and auditioning. I was honestly so against going into the corporate world for the longest time because I didn’t think I would be allowed to have a real, degree-needed, job, and not have to be full time. I had prayed about it over and over, and even cried about it countless times. I knew I had to get my big girl job at some point, but the thought of not being able to dance anymore because of it literally killed me, as it is something I don’t want to give up. I take class and audition during the week, and you can’t necessarily do that with a full time job. My agency even said to us when we signed, “You cannot be a professional dancer & have a full time job at the same time.” So luckily, I am even allowed to pick what days and hours I work. So there’s that!

How cute!!! I love that top and it looks super cute with the shorts! Congratulations on your job, unfortunately dancers have such short life span that you need a “real” job at some point. How awesome that you can gain experience while you still dance and train. My aunt was a ballerina in national ballet company and she retired at 36 due to the demands of age to her body.I hope the very best for you, Hayley!

Dancers definitely have a clock ticking with how long we can continue to do it for. :( But I hope to be doing what I can with it for as long as your aunt did! <3
