I noticed from previous years on my blog, even just a few months ago, I never used to be one to style up jeans. Like, I would, but with just a t-shirt, or an off the shoulder sweater, or a tank with a cardigan. (Perfect example here.) Recently, since I've gotten out of my comfort zone with jeans (I used to be SO picky with them,) I feel like I've actually found pairs that I love, so I've actually been trying to find tops to go with them that are different from what I'd usually style them with. Last year, I swear I would ONLY wear my black ripped jeans, and it wasn't until someone made a comment on my blog after I finally wore a different pair of jeans, that I realized I should probably work on changing that up. lol. The comment was something along the lines of, "I like these jeans so much better than the ugly ripped ones you always wear." And I was like, uhhhhh, ok thank you. lol. But I swear, ever since then, I haven't worn them again on my blog, lol! Which I'm glad I haven't because I totally over used them. For the longest time, I would prefer to just find cute dresses because it's just one easy piece and all you really need to pair it with are the right pair of shoes, where as styling jeans?? you have a lot more options, and the top is really what makes it. Moral of the story, I love this top and how cute it looks with jeans and these Sam Edelman shoes. Like, imagine if I just put a generic tee with this outfit?? It would completely change the look! Don't know why I sound so mind-blown, lol, but you get my drift.
