Breakfast At Tiffany’s

On Sunday, I went to a real life Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Literally, ate breakfast inside of Tiffany & Co.  I’m sure you have all watched the movie, Breakfast At Tiffany’s, with Audrey Hepburn, right? If not, go watch it! I have a canvas of her from one of the scenes where she’s in her iconic LBD, holding a coffee, and staring into Tiffany & Co. I never in a million years thought that actually eating Breakfast inside of Tiffany’s was something I would get to do one day, let alone that it was even a real thing! My aunt and uncle bid on this “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” prize at an auction, and they won! The decorator incorporated orange butterflies in memory of my cousin Christopher, which was my aunt and uncles son, and in our Tiffany’s Boxes that were on the table, they gave us butterfly necklaces. I loved it, and it’s now one of my favorite necklaces. (To quickly expand on the orange butterfly significance, our whole family has experienced signs of Christopher with orange butterflies. It’s like he sends us personal signs with them, and it’s like a reassurance that he’s always with us. It’s literally the best feeling whenever I see one fly by.)
I look at these pictures and still can’t believe I went to a real one! And it was crazy, we were literally treated like royalty the second we entered. Like Kate Middelton, royalty. Everyone was so nice, and it’s a morning I will always remember. A real Breakfast At Tiffany’s has been a dream of mine for the longest time!
