It has officially been over a YEAR since this Marilyn Monroe print came in, and over a year of me saying I would be doing a bar cart area post soon. lol. (I've shared it on IG stories many times, but still...) When it comes to decor, I am SUCH a perfectionist, and need everything to look as it does in my head... even if that means waiting until I find the perfect rosé bottles to complete the area. I was looking for a pink velvet chair to put on the side, but Target sold out of the one I wanted in February, so I was like, ugh, forget it. Back to the print, though: Aside from the Chanel prints in the bedroom, I am constantly asked questions about where my Marilyn Monroe print is from. It's from Fine Art America, and I have it in size: 25.50 x 36.00 w/ a silver frame and NO mat. One day last year, Cody and I were walking down a street in Beverly Hills (probably on our way to Z Gallerie, tbh,) and we passed this art gallery, where this Marilyn bring with he pink bubble gum was right in the entrance. I instantly looked like the emoji with heart eyes once Cody pointed it out to me. About a month later, I had the chance to work with Fine Art America, and WHATAYA KNOW, it's like this print was meant for me, because there it was, and of course it's the one I picked out, lol. (Speak things into existence, you guys. It's a game changer.)
Ok, anyway. Marilyn Monroe loved to stay at The Beverly Hills Hotel, and everything at the hotel is basically pink with banana palms everywhere, and their pool is pink & white striped with cabanas all aligned... So that's when the "Cabana Service" sign came to join the cart. (Sign does not come with the stand I have mine on.) Then to tie in the pink, I added a million bottles of Rosé and some copper/rose gold pieces. But it's not like, in your face, pink... it's still minimal in a way.
