I never realize how close Christmas is to Valentine’s Day until Valentine’s Day actually gets here. I’m always like… wait, didn’t I just buy Cody a gift for a different Holiday?! lol. So, as odd as it is, judging by my blog outfit choices, I only dress up for date nights on Valentine’s Day. Like going full out with heels and a dress. (If we go out to dinner for our anniversary, then we pick a nice restaurant, so that I know everyone else will be dressed up, too. lol.) I always feel so weird getting too dressed up going out to dinner for some reason and I feel like it’s only normal on Valentine’s Day, no matter where you go. Sure, we go on other date nights, and I’ll wear a nice outfit, but typically with a pair of Tory Burch sandals. haha. (I’m such a sandals girl.)

I understand your attitude about not dressing up for ordinary dinners but we can overcome that reluctance; I’ve learned to like putting on fancy clothes for dining. It’s fun and gets you mad respect wherever you go.
