A couple of weeks ago, I went into the Z Gallerie in Beverly Hills to pick out some new pieces from their new Fall & Winter Collection. (You might see a familiar face on that page.) For this collaboration, I wanted to go with a holiday party hosting theme, since Cody and I do get together with our neighbors here at our apartment almost every weekend. (Champagne is popped pretty frequently here.)
So first, I picked up these 2 silver pumpkins to go with my already neutral living room. Didn’t want to get too into the classic fall color scheme, because it’s not really me, but I do love pumpkins, so these gave me the best of both worlds. (cue Hannah Montana theme song.) On the opposite side of the pumpkins, I have the marble wax LED pillars, which resemble candle sticks. A little light is inside, and with the simple flip of a switch on the bottom, a light comes on, making them look like lit candles. And to slightly switch up my living room, I added in a white Chinchilla throw, which is the softest thing, ever, and a super chic version of tic tac toe for the coffee table. (You all know I’m not going to have an actual game board that doesn’t match, sitting on my coffee table. lol.)
Now, since champagne is pretty much always expected at a Holiday party, I went with these champagne toasting flutes. How amazing are they?! I actually love that there’s no bottom piece to set them down, because it just inclines the guests to put their champagne glasses back in one spot, rather than being set all over the place. (Am I right?!) As a host, you definitely always have to have little snacks for your guests, so what better candy to go with champagne than Hershey’s Kisses? (I ate like 5 in the process of taking these photos.) They were perfect to set inside of the glamorous Bella Bowl to have on the kitchen island. Chocolate and champagne? Yes, please.
While I would start with the toasting flutes on the island, I set them on a table tray, to make it easier to maneuver over to the living room, for guests wanting to watch TV, or just sit on the sofa.
As long as you have a few of the perfect pieces, your hosting skills will go a long way!
