If you’ve been short and small your whole life, then you may have struggled with how to style and look good in a blazer. (I have, at least.) I’ve always been back and forth with blazers. I love the look of them, but then when I try most of them on, I feel like a rollie pollie. Especially with ones that have gigantic shoulder pads. #ShortPeopleProblems. I’ve tried out different styled tops to see which make me look less “rollie pollie like,” and I’ve found that I have to pair it with a tight top or a bodycon dress. Anything loose just doesn’t look cute. I usually just wear these tank tops when I’m at home/lounging around, not necessarily to pair with an outfit, but it’s perfect for a blazer.
I bought this blazer back in 2012 specifically to wear for my first Valentine’s Day with Cody. (lol.) I wore a loose, flared top with some type of detailing on the top, and when I think back on that outfit I want to vomit…. Cody and I both actually look back on that outfit and laugh about it hahaha. So tragic. It only took me 4 years to figure out how to wear one.
