1. Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask
Ok, if you haven't seen this blue packaged mask on instagram at some point, then you've definitely been living under a rock lol. I started using this almost 3 weeks ago? 2.5 weeks ago? Something like that... and I will say, I was skeptical, and just thought it was going to be like any other mask I've tried. BUT, this stuff is great. Once all rubbed in, I instantly see my under eyes transform. (seriously.) I've even washed it off after putting it on just to make sure it wasn't all in my head and that I actually did see the difference in my under eye appearance. There are a few different ways to apply this mask, and I personally prefer to rub it all in. Many people like to put a thick layer on and let it soak in, but when I tried that, I felt greasy, even after a few hours... so I stick with the normal layer and rub it in entirely. In the morning, I wash my face and apply a new layer of the mask as a primer for my makeup, to keep my face looking fresh and plump all day long.
Is it worth the hype?
Yes.
2. Pink Cloud Rosewater Moisture Creme
by Herbivore
I've been on a major hunt for a product to calm my rosacea and tone down redness, but seriously, nothing has worked for me yet. This product has almost 700 reviews on Sephora with a 4.7 star rating. I even looked up more info on it through other sites, and again... great reviews, so I was pretty excited to get this in the mail to try it for myself. I saw no change in my rosacea or even just my face on days I see redness. If you are looking to get this just as a moisture creme, then it's a good product and applies nicely, but it did not reduce any redness for me, as it states. *sigh* I REALLY wanted to love this and I just don't.
Is it worth the hype?
No.
3. Watermelon Sleeping Mask
by Glow Recipe
This stuff smells amazing! I don't think anything can compare when it comes to smell with the products by Glow Recipe. I've been had this for a few months and I use it off and on now. It's a good mask and I do like it, but I prefer to use the Watermelon Pink Juice Moisturizer by Glow Recipe. Exact same smell, too! The mask just makes me feel greasy and I feel like I look shiny when I wake up, so I usually wash it off first thing in the morning When it comes to masks, I definitely like the Jet Lag Mask over this one. Not that this is a bad product or anything, but it's not something I'm like... going crazy over. Honestly, I mainly just bought it because it's pink, lol.
Is it worth the hype?
No.
4. GloPRO Microneedling Regeneration Tool
by Beauty Bioscience
I wrote an entire post on this a while back and I still stand by everything I wrote. This is a beauty must! (I actually microneedled just a few hours ago...) There are 540 surgical steel MicroTips on the head of the GloPRO. (does not hurt, btw.) Each time you use it and go over your skin, it's basically creating an injury, making your body think it needs to repair the injured area. It's known as a rejuvenation process in the skin, essentially giving you firmer, smoother looking skin. There is also a red LED light on the head that improves the skin tone and collagen, and vibration that creates and allows access to basically target the deepest layers of the skin. I use this tool all over my face and on my neck. (Anyone else have annoying af neck lines?!) I do this for about 10 minutes, typically at night, and finish it off with The Nightly Moduline Peptide Filling Sphere Serum.
Is it worth the hype?
Yes.
Great post dear! x

aww i am so sad to hear n2 has disappointed you! i experienced something similar with Charlotte tilbury magic cream, a moisturizer with some rose extract or oil inside which was a nightmare to me. But every review I read was positive!

Always such a bummer when a product you’ve heard great reviews about doesn’t live up to the expectations!
