Christmas has been in full swing over here since November 1st, of course, but final details were being added through the month. We also have a bigger tree this year! We went with a 9 foot Aspen Fir Tree from King of Christmas and the size is PERFECT. This is the first time in YEARS that I haven't had a flocked tree, and I'm not mad about it lol. I also opted for no ornaments this year and I'm loving the look.
The tree is pre-lit with classic white and options for multicolor... which Charlie loves lol. This specific one doesn't have a twinkle option, so I added in 6 strands of twinkle lights that I found at target and I actually love how it looks way more than an entire twinkle tree. (I was able to get them on sale for $1.50 a strand! They're typically $3.) The twinkle lights are subtle and scattered throughout the tree, which you can see how that turned out here.
Since I was going for a simple look for the tree, I wanted to add in a bunch of gifts underneath, so I saved all of my Amazon boxes and wrapped them in cute paper. lol.
