Teeth whitening is pretty much a daily routine for me. I’ve used teeth whitening tooth paste for years and have been a frequent user of crest white strips, however, I NEVER liked them! Yes, they gave desired results, but wearing those crest white strips were like the most miserable 30 minutes of my life! lol. I could taste the whitening, couldn’t swallow it, so I’d have to spit every 5 minutes, and I couldn’t talk with them in, or else they’d slide around. Ok, seriously, this new method of teeth whitening is the coolest thing ever. You take your own dental impressions, send them in, and they send you your trays that are molded to perfectly fit your teeth, which pretty much act like a retainer. The kit comes with whitening gel and desensitizing gel. First, you use the whitening gel, which you can leave in for 45 minutes, all the way up to 3 hours, depending on your sensitivity. (It’s recommended to start with 45 minutes, and you can gradually lengthen your time.) After you finish whitening, it’s suggested you then do the desensitizing gel, which will greatly reduce sensitivity! You’ll know what I’m talking about if you’ve previously whitened your teeth. That ish can HURT! haha. What I like most about this method, is that you can talk and pretty much go about your day around the house without having to spit every 5 minutes, worrying about the whitening strips moving around, etc. Plus, not only can you comfortably do things around the house, but you can actually talk with these in! lol.
