Obviously from the title and the balloons, you can guess that I'm 26 today! So crazy! I feel like a year ago I was turning 23. And of course, no birthday is really that exciting after your 21st, I mean, right? lol. Cody is currently out of town for work, so I won't see him on our first celebration of my birthday as husband and wife, sadly, but it's ok! I've spent my last 5 birthday's with him, so it's all good. 

Since I haven't had Cody here, I actually took the photo of Meela and I on 10 second timer through an app on the iPhone. Ok, technically we took like 50, of course, and then picked one winner. It was quite the struggle taking it on my own and not having Cody to be the photographer. Definitely made me appreciate the time he takes to take my blog photos much more, lol. Then the champagne... It's actually wine. The rosé bottle of Veuve is an old one that I had on my bar cart because I obviously liked the bottle, and I was like, omg, let me put it in the pic! and then I poured the wine and was like, ok, that's yellow and CLEARLY not rosé, so a little editing on Lightroom did the trick, to make it look like it was, lol. 

One thing I learned after taking these inside versus outside like previous years, is that I should always take these inside, because it is so much easier to keep these numbers in place without any wind! Every year, I've gotten so frustrated taking my birthday posts because it always takes so much longer to take them since I only get like 3 photos max with the numbers facing the right way lol. (Exhibit A.) This time, I just taped the balloon string to the wall and I was set!
