I will admit, my mom has been doing most of the wedding planning, and I honestly don't know if anything at all would even be done had it not been for her. We have our date, venue, photographer, videographer, florist, and more, already set in stone, and I feel like I've taken a back set as it's all happened, lol. Ok, not a complete backseat, because I pretty much say my idea, and my mom actually gets it done. However, this week, I actually started planning things on my own. I got ideas for the gifts for my mom and dad for the wedding day, including quotes to add with their gifts, picked the song for the videographer, searched for robes for my bridesmaids, looked for a Photo Booth company, booked our officient, scheduled our engagement photos, etc. Even just doing all of that, I thought, how on earth has my mom found time to do all of the big stuff?! It's a lot of work! lol. Being an only child, though, I see why my mom is so excited about the planning, and I'm sure I'll be the same way once I have a child of my own. 
If you are a bride to be, I highly recommend using the app The Knot. It seriously helps you stay on track, being able to check off from a list of things that need to be completed every month before your wedding day. Plus, it has a wedding countdown, which I love. 234 more days till I get married!
