ok, so like, 7 years ago, I was a PRO at making my Starbucks order from my espresso machine at home. Then just started going to Starbucks again, after a while... and then I completely lost my touch when I wanted to get back into making it again. I got this Smeg Espresso Machine for Christmas, and literally, it wasn't until 2 weeks ago, that I FINALLY got it down again. Quite sad. My biggest mistake? I was using coffee grinds instead of espresso grinds. *insert upside down happy face.* So yeah, don't do that.  The second most important part is the white chocolate syrup. I swear, you can only use the same brand starbucks uses.  I've tried a variety of different brands for this, and just... no. Starbucks no longer sells it, so it currently can only be found on amazon, and it's the one by Fontana. Like it's KEY. So I go with 2 shots of espresso, steam the milk (which is attached to the machine,) pour accordingly, add two pumps of the white chocolate, and a little pour of toffee nut syrup (sometimes vanilla.) Add ground cinnamon, and lastly, the whipped cream. Basically, when ,making a latte, it's espresso with milk... anything else, like the syrup, is obviously just added flavor, so I consider it a toffee nut latte?

I know I'll probably get questions about this specific espresso machine, so I'll give a brief overview: I have a thing for the 50's, so I've always loved the 50's inspired vibe with all Smeg products. I love everything about this machine, but my ONLY complaint would be the top part of it. It's supposed the get hot, so you can set your cup on it to warm it up, but it barrrrely gets hot, and if it does, it's like only a portion... However,  I don't even use that part, so it personally doesn't bother me, but felt I should disclose.
