This has been theeee longest wait for one of my decor reveals. I moved here in November of 2019 and here we are in June of 2020. Yes, it took me 7 months to finish it, but a lot of it had to do with the fact that I waited 3 months for a sofa I ordered, which delivered broken… then I had to hunt for a new one, and I found this beauty that I am SO happy with. (Do you guys remember the wait for the Anthropologie sofa?! And for it to come broken and just all around hate it… it was the worst, lol.) I had originally planned for a black sofa, and clearly went with charcoal in the end, so it took me a little while longer to figure out exactly what I wanted to do for the color scheme. I never thought I’d get back into liking brass, as I’d been so adamant on steering away from it in the past, and strictly going with chrome… but once Daniel and I decided on this lamp, it set the tone for the entire room, and the brass obsession came about again. Totally not mad about it. 

One of the most important parts whenever I re-decorate my living room is making sure I find the perfect set of prints to go above the sofa. This actually goes for any room. Prints are a must for me & Desenio is ALWAYS my go-to. I've used their prints for my bathroom decor, my bar cart decor, and now, clearly, my new living room reveal. they're literally the best. So many options to choose from and their pricing is incredibly reasonable. I had been a fan of them long before I began working with them.
