This past weekend, Daniel and I stayed in Palm Springs, and we had such a great time! I feel like most times that I've gone to Palm Springs, I never really took it in. I was in a rush, with too many people... or drunk lol. Palm Springs is so effing cute, you guys. I've been there a million times, but idk, this time was different, I guess? freaking cute and pretty. We stayed at the hotel called, ARRIVE, and loved how modern it was. Very clean and minimal... and it's super dog friendly! Like dogs chillin by the pool, dog-friendly. We were SO sad we didn't bring Meela, because she would've been a hit, lol. We got really nice weather too. I think that may be another reason why I've never taken the time to soak it all in, because it's usually hot AFFFFF, since I usually go in the Summer. This time around, the weather was amazing. Saturday morning, we were out by the pool by 9am and out there until about 4pm.
By 4pm, it got CRAZY windy. Like apocalypse status, lol. Literally out of nowhere, so we went back to the room, cleaned up, as we anticipated going out for dinner.... but the wind was so bad, that restaurants were literally closing, since all dining is currently outside, and their umbrellas and chairs are flying away lol. So instead, we had a night in, ordered pizza, and watched the new Netflix documentary about the Cecil Hotel. (I promise I will be doing my documentary rec post soon!)
On Sunday, we packed up our stuff, and drove around the city to explore a little before leaving.
Marilyn Monroe's Palm Springs Home below! Literally just up the street from ARRIVE Hotel. If you're interested in driving past the house, the address is: 1326 N. Rose Ave. Palm Springs, CA
I was in desperate need of a bagel, so I typed in "Bagels" on Yelp, and Townie Bagels came up as number 1, so there we went. Little hole in the wall, had a line out the door, and it was really good! I love a good bagel. Townie Bagels Address: 650 E Sunny Dunes Rd #5, Palm Springs, CA 92264
After we got the bagel and coffee, we planned to get on the road, but there was an antique store a few doors over, so we walked around in there for a bit, then got back on the road and headed home!
