First post of 2021, and..........we bought a house!!! You may remember, we hinted at buying a house mid last year... which we did, but we worked with a total fraud of a "lender," which resulted in us losing the first house. *More info on my instagram 'home deets' story highlight* So while that was upsetting, it actually was a total blessing in disguise. We were never in love with that home. It was a new build, but it catered to an older crowd, so I literally wanted to change everything on the inside.. Which, with it being a new build, you'd think changes wouldn't be needed right away. That house was done, and they were just waiting for us to move in. So on the day we officially lost that house, a few hours later, I found another home on Zillow that I was instantly obsessed with. Also a new build, but it had that modern look that I love, AND a fireplace! Daniel literally said to me, "we need to have a fireplace in our next home" when we were in the process of the first house. Guys... it was totally meant to be. We literally get to customize this new home, and it's everything we wanted the first time around, but couldn't find. We officially secured our lot/location for it yesterday! The only hard part is having to wait till August... considering we are currently at my parents *insert upside down happy face because I haven't lived with them for 7 years.* My apartment lease ended, and I moved all my stuff to my parents garage, thinking we'd be in our house in just about a week or so... until our lender screwed us over, lol. So once we found the home we are currently waiting for, we agreed to just stay at my parents until then, that way we can just save even more. We're working with the builders preferred lender this time around, so we won't be running into the issues we did the last time, caussssse WOW. What a horrible experience. lol. Anyway, Everything happens for a reason, and we are more than happy with how this all turned out, even though we felt like we went through hell for it, lol.
