This blog originally focused on Fashion, where I'd curate outfits for inspiration. As I moved from apartment to apartment while living in LA, I really began to enjoy and focus on interior design/home decor - with some life and realness mixed in.

As for the name? I was blonde for roughly ten years, and it quickly became part of my brand. I swore I'd never go back to being brunette, yet here I am, brunette, lol. I've had pink hair, violet hair, black hair, auburn hair, I mean... I've really gone for it with the hair color changes. For now, I think I'll stick to my darker roots, but I'm still "blondie" at heart.

I'm Hayley. I'm 32, half Mexican, and speak fluent Spanish. I keep a bottle of Tapatio in my car at all times, because.. you know, just in case. I'm an October Libra, which I feel is a huge part of my identity, lol.

After college, I tried to find something I was passionate about, trying out multiple different jobs with my degree, & I hated everything. I was blogging behind the scenes for fun while impatiently waiting for dance auditions to come my way. I was a dancer for 25 years & did it professionally for 5 years! But that life stopped fulfilling me as it once did.

The About  Page

Hayley Larue

I really enjoyed what I was doing with my blog and became really passionate about it. Through different collaborations and social media growth, more doors opened, and I was able to explore other career opportunities.

In 2016, I became a jeweler and the social media manager for @HappyJewelers. I organically grew their social media presence for 7 years until I became a mom. I've been in the diamond industry for 8 years now, and while I still work with clients, I mainly focus on my personal brand: this blog, and the shop links you can find below.

Personal Life

I got married on September 12th, 2021, to my high school homecoming date, Daniel. We originally met when we were 13, and although we had a crush on each other in high school, we never actually dated. After high school, we went through 10 years of life without seeing each other until we reconnected.

You can read all about our history and how we reunited again, here.

We welcomed our baby girl, Charlie Lorén on December 19th, 2022, and life now just seems so surreal.
