Peep my cute little "dohoda" necklace that I had made :)

My bridal shower was this past Sunday and it was even better that what I could have imagined! It was seriously perfect. My long time friend, Steven, who owns Steven James Design, did all of the designing and planning for it. He's also doing my Bachelorette party (which is in just a couple days,) and is designing/planning my wedding, of course. I knew I wanted a tea party theme, and this little spot where I had my 7th birthday party at... was exactly where I wanted it! Seriously, though. I did have my 7th birthday party here and Mary Poppins came. There were pleeeenty of jokes about Mary Poppins making a surprise appearance this weekend. lol.

Now... story about my dress, which I was obsessed with... The other week, I did a whole roundup of bridal shower dresses here on my blog for you guys - they were all from Revolve - I ordered one that was $200 - was hoping I was going to love it, but I hated it when I tried it on. It did not fit the way I had hoped it would, so I sent it back and went on my dress hunt again. This time, I went on Fashion Nova and I found my dress for $38. YEAH. $38. I KNOW. It was such a ME dress - the nude underneath with white mesh over it - it screamed my name as a bridal shower dress. As far as sizing goes: it is a tight dress, so I ordered both Small & Medium just in case, and I went with the Small. Then I ordered the J'Adior slingback heels to tie it all together. I LOVE them. I did get tons of questions asking if they're comfortable and here's the thing: heels in general aren't necessarily "comfortable," but if you can handle a pair of Louboutin's... ANYTHING is comfortable, let's put it that way, lol. I wore them for a solid 5 hours, and it really wasn't until hour 5 that I was wanting to take them off.
