If you have been waxing up to this point... do yourself a favor and stop. LASER IS THE WAY TO GO. When I hear people do bikini wax and under arm wax, I cringe inside. You have to grow that shit out for them to wax!! I literally could never. Waxing also totally pulls your skin. I'm sure still having hair has its benefits, but, I'm sorry, I just can't do it. lol. I prefer to be completely hair free in those areas. Now let's back track a little here... About 7 years ago, I tried under arm laser for the first time and it hurt like a BITCH and it was also extremely expensive (I spent almost $500 on it then for JUST under arms...) NOW? It is so painless, it's unreal, due to the upgrades in technology, and also super cheap where I go. I go to SEV Laser in West Hollywood, (they have multiple locations,) and there, I do Brazilian, Full Legs, and my Under Arms.
Pricing -
Brazilian: $70 a session
Full Legs: $170 a session
Under Arms: $50 a session
I just recently started doing the full legs because I love having hair free legs, so I usually shave every single day. And if I get in bed and realize I didn't, I get back in the bath tub and shave the legs really quick, because I literally cannot handle. (Supper annoying.) A week later after just ONE treatment, I didn't have to shave for like 2 weeks. I still don't, really, just random spots. I go again this week for my second treatment! - Brazilian... everyone always has a freak out moment when I say I went through with Brazilian, mainly because.. yes.. it's not just your bikini, it's your full on ass crack and vag, too. We're getting intimate here. My very first appointment for this, I was kinda freaking out, because I, too, was like... sooo a random lady is going to see me butt ass naked AND I have to basically do a spread eagle. great. It was weird at first, but then I started to think how these people do this everyday, and they really don't care. Brazilian, however, does hurt a little. Nothing crazy, but it's because that area does have thicker hair. Each appointment hurts less, since the hair gets thinner and thinner, PLUS, the actual lasering portion lasts 2 minutes max, so it's nothing major. You can do it, trust me.
Even though I did my under arms forever ago, I obviously didn't keep up with them, so I did have to start shaving like everyday again. Now that I've gone back to doing this, I think I only did like 4 treatments, and now I'm good to go for the rest of the year. Like they say, you should come back 1-2 times per year for touch ups... which, $60 a year ($30/session,) for me not to shave anymore?! I'm not complaining. Waxing has to be done every 3-4 weeks.... basically for the rest of your life. *insert money with wings emoji* - With each of these treatments, I've seen results within a week. And for best results, you should go every 4-6 weeks, and once you no longer have to shave, is when you can stop treatments. (People usually get 6-8 treatments until they can stop.) I can promise you once you start seeing results from your first appointment, you are going to ask yourself what took you so long to begin laser. It is SOOOOO worth it, I cannot express it enough!
* SEV Laser does NOT give me free treatments for advertisement, nor do they pay me to advertise. I chose to go here to experience it for myself, and I am truly happy with their services and my results.
Ahhh I want to get this done so bad!

I’ve done waxing for like 5 years now and I love it. However, never done a bikini wax, as it’s a bit more personal – lol. I’ve always wanted to do laser hair treatment! I’m totally going to start on the underarms, I had no idea it was THAT affordable. I’m going to look for a location near me that does them affordably! Gotta start somewhere right?!

Ugh. I’d love to do laser but they told me my hair is way too thin and light for it :( waxing it is! After one wax though I’m good for a month usually before anything starts to grow, at least!
This post is making me wanna get one as well! xx

Any updates on laser hair removal and treatments!? Considering getting it done at the SEV in my area!
I’m obsessed with laser! Got my friend to start doing brazilian and she texted me 2 weeks later saying “Why didn’t I start doing this years ago? I haven’t shaved since my appointment!” haha. Seriously, SEV is awesome. Highly recommend!! <3
