Since our move to Huntington Beach, Cody and I have obviously decided we want to live in LA again, which I'm sure I've mentioned one too many times already. Because of this, we haven't done much to the apartment, as far as hanging things up, painting, and all of that fun stuff... (fun for me, not cody, lol,) because we truthfully don't know how long we will even stay here. However, our new headboard came in and we love it! It was exactly what I had been looking for, and it goes perfectly with the mirrored dressers. The living room decor is still the same, but we did get a bigger bar cart that also goes much nicer with the living room pieces. I did love my gold bar cart, but it was like the only gold thing in my apartment, so it bothered me, lol.
So moral of the story, we're kind of in limbo right now, figuring out what we are going to do/what will work out best, but trust me, I'm dying to get my decorating started! I had originally planned to paint on the first day we moved in and I am SO glad we didn't end up doing that. We didn't mount the TV, or even do anything to the second bedroom, aka my office... but technically Cody's office because he actually uses it. If it were decorated, I'd be in there 24/7, but Cody uses it to do his own thing, listen to music, and take a break from dealing with me all day, hahaha. Let me tell you, he sure does love having his own bathroom right now. No more stepping on my flat iron chord, finding bobby pins everywhere, or asking me to get out of the bath tub so he can shower. We just got super lucky with a good 2 bedroom price here, and most definitely won't get that in LA, lol, so Cody never let's me go into his bathroom because he says he only has a limited amount of time with a bathroom to himself, hahaha.
