I wore this outfit to a wedding two weekends ago, and also this past weekend when I judged the National American Miss California Competition. It’s seriously such a perfect go-to outfit for nice occasions. A week before the wedding, I was looking for something to wear at the mall, and I think I went into at least 10 stores and didn’t find anything. Bebe was the last store I went into, and I was so close to not going because I was completely malled out. I HATE shopping, unless it’s online. Sure enough, I walked in, and I saw this on the mannequin to my left. It was pretty much a done deal from there. (I had the skirt hemmed a little, since it’s a little too long for someone who’s 5’3, otherwise, the bottom of the skirt would have been scalloped like the bottom of the top.) The outfit all together was little bit on the pricier side (top & skirt sold separately,) but I loved it the second I tried it on and HAD to get it, because I knew I’d put some good use into it.
