I don't know why it took me almost this entire year to finally decide to get myself a Gucci belt. In fact, I only have ONE other belt and it was like $10 and it goes with nothing... But this one?! I already have like another 7 outfits I'm excited to style it with. I'm really loving how it looks with an oversized sweater. I got this sweater in an XXS, since it was already oversized, and I was planning on wearing the sweater and the belt alone... with no skirt underneath, however, it's definitely does NOT stay down without the skirt to kind of hang on to. lol. I was thinking I could've maybe done the XS instead, but I don't know how much that would've actually affected length. Let's talk about belt sizing, though. I contemplated for a while on what size to get, (logo wise,) and clearly ended up going with the medium one. I literally went back and forth between this one and the really small one for over an hour. The medium one is $450, while the small one is $350, and for some reason, all this time, I though the medium one was around $1100. So once I realized that, I was like, uh, ok, for $100 more, I'll go with the medium one then. It's like, significantly bigger than the small one, in my opinion. Now as far as the actual sizing of the belt, and not the logo... I went with a size 70. I don't think I'll really wear belts around my hips, since mostly everything I have is high waisted, so the 70 works perfect for that area. If I were wearing hip hugger jeans, then I would've needed a bigger size. I never went into the store to try these sizes on, because one, I HATE going into stores to shop in general (such an online shopper,) and two, I'm pretty good at figuring out what size to get in most things by looking up reviews, etc. So I read Maria's Guide To Buying A Gucci Belt, and knew right away what size belt to get. So if you feel like you have the same body shape and frame as me, a 70 will work great! (Although, I feel like you can't see my body shape too well in this outfit, so not sure if this even helps, haha.)
I had better luck finding the belt on Net-a-Porter. They had many sizes available, and it shipped SO quick! Didn't have much luck on sizing I wanted in not only the length, but also the logo size on the Gucci website or Nordstrom. So I really recommend Net-a-Porter.
