Up until this year, I was never that into Halloween. Most years, I would just hang out at home, drink wine, and watch documentaries. We dressed up last year, but this years costume really got me in the mood. We had so much fun with these. The night we decided we were going to be Bonnie & Clyde, we watched the original Bonnie & Clyde movie, and I went down rabbit hole of the history of these two partners in crime. Daniel and I love anything historical/vintage/old, so this was right up our alley. I will say, we kind of struggled to get our costumes exactly how we wanted them, so I specifically made this a blog post so I could share all costume links for anyone looking for costume pieces for their Bonnie & Clyde costume. The skirt took me the longest. I ordered a few and hated them all, but found this one like 3 days ago lol. I found most of the costume on Amazon, and the wig surprised me the most. It looks and feels so real. We went to a Halloween party last weekend and literally everyone just thought I cut my hair. I've ordered a few wigs on Amazon before, and they were shitty, but this one was a pleasant surprise. Def 10/10. For Daniel's costume, he used his own suit, hat, and shoes, and we ordered his tie, pocket watch, suspenders, and cigar off Amazon.
Welp! Next Halloween, we will be able to celebrate it in our house, and I am SO looking forward to decorating for Halloween for the FIRST time, ever.
