So incase you haven’t had a chance to read over my about section, I’m Mexican. So much, so, that Spanish was my first language. What I’m trying to point out here is that I wasn’t born with white girl hair. If I let my hair air dry, I just end up looking like I got electrocuted. I have been blow drying my hair so long that I can’t remember a time when I didn’t. I obviously don’t enjoy blow drying my hair, because come on, who truly likes it?! It’s time consuming, arms get tired, and after getting out of the shower, who wants to spend like 20 minutes doing their hair when they’re just going to go to bed right after? However, compared to previous hair dryers I have used in the past, the Zero7 Air Lightweight Dryer is hands down the best one I have ever tried, and I truly mean that. To point out the obvious, yes, it’s very light, and it’s also soooo much quieter. Cody doesn’t mind me drying my hair with the door open now haha. Plus, IT CONTROLS FRIZZ!! You guys, with every other dryer, my hair still would look like a frizzy mess by the time I would finish, so I would always quickly run a flat iron through to calm it down, even if I was planning on curling it. But seriously, after I finished using this one, I was shocked at how tame and smooth my hair looked. Literally looked like my hair dresser just did it. Also, I am NOT a fan of using hair product after my hair is dried, so I don’t ever use any kind of “frizz-free” serum, ever. (I even ask my hair dresser not to use product on me.) This dryer is literally a miracle worker, so if you hate using product to tame your frizz, then this dryer is your answer.

I would have never guessed your ethnicity, but then I don’t ponder such things since they don’t matter. Except for hair.

Blow-drying is, as you say, a tedious chore. Here in NY a new type of business has opened up everywhere — “air-bars.” They blow-dry your hair. They don’t cut hair so they aren’t salons; they’re more just for hair-maintenance. My wife goes three times a week (she’s Jewish and her hair is super-curly); most places offer discount-plans for frequent visits.

I need to look into this option for my next dryer. I hate the frizz I sometimes get after blow drying!

OMG Hayley, that sounds perfect. I have way too many crappy hairdryers that dry the hair OK but the end result is horrible otherwise. I wonder if you would make a demo video for technique?! I love your blog so much, thanks!

Have you ever done a blow dry tutorial? I have always been fond of just letting my hair air dry, but I would love to learn the art of blowdrying from a pro!
