Happy New Year, everyone! I always get so excited to start a new year, planning out what I want to accomplish each month, setting goals, and so on. One thing I have done for the past 2 years (now going on 3) has been to set monthly goals. Instead of setting resolutions for the entire year, that I feel like we just end up forgetting... setting goals for each month makes it easier to actually accomplish those goals... at least it has been for me. So at the beginning of every month, I sit down at my desk, and write out in my notebook what it is I want to have happen, and at the end of the month, I go through and check off what I accomplished, and then start again. It makes me a much more productive person, and I definitely encourage everyone to try it out! There were some goals I honestly don't think I actually would have tried for had I not written it down in my notebook. I remember a few times last year, telling myself how I had to do whatever it was because it was a goal of mine for the month, otherwise, I think I would have just flat out said "fuck it," and not actually done it, lol. It's pretty rewarding when you review at the end of the month and get to put a check mark next to every set goal you made, and I feel like it also just give you a more positive outlook on the next month ahead.
