On Thursday, I left for Colorado for a wedding and just got back this morning. But before I get there... who was following along on instagram with my whole laptop fiasco with Lyft?! lol. A whole 13 hours of not being able to contact my Lyft driver, and Lyft not even being able to.. to finally being contacted by the driver letting me know he had my laptop. Oy. Oddly, I was pretty calm, but as I neared the double digit hours, I started to stress, and almost went to Best Buy to buy a new laptop. Was pretty convinced I wasn't getting this back, but THANKFULLY, it is currently in my lap. Phew! K, anyway. I know many of you had questions about the fact that you all saw Cody in my stories. I saw all the shares on my instagram insights lol. Annnnd some people just flat out asked. He hasn't been in my stories for quite some time, and I've gotten countless questions on a weekly basis about it. I will address this one day, but not right now... so put all of that aside for now.
Cody and I did go to a friends wedding this weekend, who I met through him in college. I also made their rings! It was so fun getting to see everyone, even though I'm not the one who went to college with this whole group, but I did spend a LOT of my college time with them, so I do consider them my friends as well. The wedding was in Vail, CO, which is 2 hours away from Denver. We got a huge Air bnb that was 3 stories, and we had a great time. The wedding was Friday - then Saturday, we all drove back to Denver to spend our last day there. So we each got a hotel for the night, and flew back home Sunday morning. Vail was beautiful! But Denver was my favorite. I love the area we were in on our last day. In Denver, we stayed at the Jacquard Hotel & Rooftop. It was in such a cute area and the food at the hotel was sooooo good. Right up my alley. We all went out that night to a few bars, but I definitely want to go back to Denver to spend a little more time there. I loved it!
I saw some of you mentioned your hometown is Colorado, so if you're reading this, drop some recommendations below, because I'd love to go back!
I’m from Colorado, and live in Denver!!
You also have to stop by Boulder and spend a day in Breckenridge, both are so cute and have amazing food.
In Denver I highly recommend Beatrice and Woodsley for an amazing dining experience, and Machete for spicy margs and guac.
Avanti for beautiful views and their Arepas, and Linger for the best frose (IMHO) in the city.
SO many more recs at https://www.thetravelogueonline.com/colorado if you ever come back!!
This is awesome! Thanks so much! <3
You and Cody are in my prayers! I was so happy to see y’all together. May God bless you both!
Thank you so much! <3
Oh such a beautiful place!

Denver is on my wishlist, but I’d like to go during the Winter!
Also, I didn’t even realize Cody wasn’t in your stories until this post. Guess I’m not nosey! HAHA.
Anyways, my Fiancé doesn’t like to be in my stories. He’s more of a private person. I’m assuming that’s how Cody is!
