As 2016 comes to a close, I had a look back at all of my posts this year, and picked out some of my favorite outfits/decor photos for my last post of the year. Even now as I scroll through, the photos from January don't even seem like they were a year ago, but when I think back on everything from this year, and it's almost crazy to think it all happened in just one year. While I went through a very difficult first half of the year, which I never really shared on social media, there are still so many positive things from 2016 I wanted to highlight in today's post: I changed my blog name to Blondie in the City. I sold my Scion and leased my first Mercedes. I went through with getting lip fillers (lol.) I got my eyebrows micro-bladed (SO WORTH IT.) I bought my mom her first Louis Vuitton bag, which I promised her I would do one day. I GOT ENGAGED. I turned 25. I dyed my hair pink for fun. I hit 20k followers on Instagram. I hosted my first webinar about blogging. And then I became a jeweler (part time,) and absolutely LOVE my job! *Quick Story* I always felt so bored during the week working from home on my blog, and felt like a couch potato, so I decided to go in once a week where I work as a jeweler, ended up loving it, and now I do it part time. I sometimes feel like I have no free time, due to still blogging full time, and then working during the week, but I love the people I work with, and I love the two types of things I get to call work. It honestly doesn't feel like work sometimes, which I'm so thankful for. So while 2016 was a little rough for me in the beginning, it turned out to be a great year, and I'm excited to start a brand new year!
