I don’t do it. At least not the normal way. lol. I honestly hate the gym because I hate listening to my music and not being able to dance, so when people ask what my workout routine is, or what I do to stay in shape, my only answer is dance. My whole life, dance has been my number one way of staying in shape. If you are just joining my blog today, I’ve been a dancer for over 20 years. For 14 of my dance years, I danced 6 days a week for a good 5-6 hours a day… with only 5 weeks out of the year off (all at different times, obviously.) Now, I have been dancing professionally for almost 4 years, so while I don’t have auditions all day, everyday, I still train and take class, so all in all, I do a ton of cardio and a lot of leg muscle exercises. (I wish I had more muscular arms, so I sometimes go to my apartment gym just to awkwardly lift weights lol.) Unfortunately, I can’t give you guys any eating tips, because all my life, I have eaten TERRIBLY. On my way to an audition yesterday morning, I was running late because I took forever to wake up, so I grabbed a bag of chips and a chocolate bar for my breakfast. (I know.)  Senior year in high school, I ate Chick-Fil-A for lunch every.single.day for 6 months straight, until I gave it up for lent. lol. But to back myself up, my mom is tiny, she is slightly shorter than I am, and is just an overall little person. My dad always had weight gaining issues when he was younger. He once ate 13 pieces of pizza when he was a teen and it did absolutely nothing to his weight. And as a sophomore in high school, he weighed 90 pounds lol. (But he’s obviously fully grown now and he looks normal haha.)
However, I honestly do wish I ate better, because I feel like I have less energy than I should, due to the crap I eat, so I’m trying my best to try and get my greens in!

    Amazing sporty look. This is the best sports bra I have ever seen. I had no idea you’re a dancer. That’s awesome. I eat a lot of crap too and I never workout. I know that’s bad. I always try to eat healthier but in the end I’m back to crap :D

    Finallyyyyyy I meet someone who eats like me! Phew! I actually feel normal now. Haha! I’m 36, two kids and still eat loads of crap. Chocolate bars and potato crisps are my favourites. LOL!

    I was tempted to purchase Lulumon in the past but all the controversy about the company made me changed my mind. You look fabulous though and wow, you have been dancing for so many years!

      Hahahaha! I am just as excited to hear that someone eats just as crappy as I do! LOL! I swear people left and right are always like, omg, you need to take care of your body and feed it with nutrients… But it’s so hard! haha. Glad to hear you and I are on the same page! <3

    Eating well is hard. I found the best way is to add healthy foods that you already like instead of trying to remove unhealthy foods. Eating more and more healthy stuff eventually crowds out the unhealthy choices.
