My two go-to perfumes right now are Dahlia Divin by Givenchy and Si by Giorgio Armani. (Quick little re-cap on how to properly say Givenchy [Jee-Von-She]… But don’t worry, for the longest time, I also thought it was pronounced [Give-in-chee] lol. I just found it out a few months ago.) One thing I am VERY picky about is my perfume. I don’t like full on floral smells, and I feel like half of the perfumes out there smell like “old lady.” So I tend to search for youthful smells with very subtle (emphasis on the subtle) hints of floral. One section of the mall I absolutely hate is the fragrance counter because I have allergies and I hate when those workers feel like they can spray me with 50 different scents without asking me. Cody on the other hand? LOVES this section of the mall. Now because of the amount of times we’ve paid our visits, due to Cody’s cologne obsession, I can’t even tell you how many perfumes I’ve smelled, which led me to my top two favorites.
Si would be my number one, and my typical everyday scent. It’s feminine, youthful, and more on the sweeter side of smells. It’s not too strong either (I never like overpowering perfumes,) but I’ve read people’s descriptions of it, which have been that it smells like rose and vanilla, and I actually think that’s pretty accurate. Dahlia Divin has more of a warm, white floral smell, so I would say this one is the more “romantic” one, more so used for date nights.
