Face Rolling is the beauty trend going around right now (or for a while now, I should say,) and it is a game changer! But which one should you go with? The Original Ice Roller that started it all, the popular Jade Roller, or the new and on the rise Rose Quartz Roller? Well, you're in luck, because I've tried and have all 3 of them.

I first started with the original Ice Roller. I loved it the second I tried it, recommended it on my blog and to my friends, and it's at a GREAT price point. You leave the piece that rolls in the freezer, while the plastic handle stays out. I like that the handle doesn't go in the freezer with it, because it makes it comfortable to hold when you take the roller out, and you're rolling your face. It does leave a wet residue on your face though, and it squeaks a lot. This personally didn't bother me, but I can't even tell you how many people DM'd me asking "Does your ice roller squeak?!" lol.

The Jade Roller by Herbivore. This one has been the talk of the blogger town. I previously wrote on here how I didn't care too much for this one by Herbivore, because it was too delicate and I felt like I couldn't actually press on my face with the amount of pressure I wanted. I could see the glue holding the pieces together, and it was just all around a poor product. HOWEVER, Herbivore has recently reconstructed their Jade Rollers, which I purchased so I could try, and it is night and day. This is the roller I now use on a daily basis, and the one I keep in my skin fridge.

The Rose Quartz Roller by Angela Caglia, is basically the same concept as the Jade roller. If I'm being honest, I don't pay attention to the "healing" the stones do, I really just use it as a way to depute my face. While the Jade Roller has two ends, this one has one long end. When I first came out with this post, I chose the Rose Quartz roller over the jade roller, due to the poor production on the jade roller, but now that they've re-done those, I personally like the jade roller best. I like that it has a smaller end so I can roll under my eyes and over my eyelids, and it's also priced cheaper.

You know, I’ve been wondering which one was the best for a while so I am so glad you made this post! I have to say, I’m still in a predicament between the jade and rose quartz roller because it seems that the only reason you didn’t like the jade roller as much was because of the specific one you had, please correct me if I’m wrong! I found a good one from Herbivore Botanicals that looks especially good. They also make Rose Quartz rollers so I’m thinking of just trying the two out for myself. Do you know the beneficial properties of the two?

So glad you found this helpful! The one by Herbivore is actually the one I have! So I would not recommend that one if you are looking to go with the Jade roller. I linked the one by Nordstrom only because it wasn’t letting me link the one by Herbivore, oddly! But reviews looked to be just about the same as Herbivore :/ The Metal used to hold the stones on each side are just so delicate, and you feel like you’re going to break the whole piece if you either use it to much, or much even just a little harder.

Thank you so much for letting me know this! That is strange that it wouldn’t let you link that one. I guess rose quartz roller it is! I must admit, it looks so pretty I would have a hard time using it lol!

Oooh, now I want all the rollers! I actually got a jade roller a few months back and used it probably three times, before thinking it was unnecessary and stopping a.k.a. I got impatient. The results of rolling are definitely long-term and not necessarily noticeable to the naked eye, so I’m for sure going to give it a try again soon and maybe try another type of roller
