Candles are the perfect décor piece to spice up any room in your home. I love having them all over my apartment, but mainly in my bedroom to give it that peaceful atmosphere. Today, I’ll be sharing some of my favorites! I love Chesapeake Bay Candles because they have a wide variety of scents for all moods and preferences. The candles I have are from the Heritage Collection, which were made to give off soothing, energizing, and refreshing scents.

The sizes of these candles are great for the price and I'm also a huge fan of the matte finish of each container. They’re a perfect accessory for any coffee table or nightstand! My favorite scent in the collection is the Milk & Honey Double Wick Tin Candle. It's the perfect light scent with white freesia, bergamot, honey-soaked almonds, and vanilla. Occasionally, I like to leave this candle un-covered over night and wake up to a nice, subtle scent without even having to light it.

Another great scent in this collection is the Blood Orange Coffee Table Jar Candle. This candle consists of citrus notes with blood orange and mandarin elements. It’s that perfect refreshing smell. My other favorite scents include the Driftwood & Amber Large Jar Candle and the Aqua Marine Small Jar Candle. Driftwood & Amber is sultry and rich, while Aqua Marine is light and fresh. Since my bedroom is where I spend most of my time, either relaxing or writing blog posts, this is my favorite place to keep my candles. When I’m feeling stressed out, lighting my candles are one of the ways I like to begin unwinding. Creating a soothing environment in your home is so important in order to do your best work and boost your mood.

On the weekends, I've basically made it a ritual to wake up, brush my teeth, wash my face, start making my coffee, turn on my favorite Spotify playlist, and light my candles to start any work I have to do on my blog. I look forward to this every weekend!
