I've been having MAJOR PWD - Post Wedding Depression. Don't know if that's a real thing, but for me, it is. lol. Like SO sad the wedding weekend is over and I wish I could re-do it every weekend! Currently, Cody and I are honeymooning in The Maldives, and it is day 5 for us, so we have two more days left. We are staying at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island and we love it! The staff is so incredibly nice here, like, I've never experienced a nicer hotel staff. Cody is also a Hilton Honors member, so because of that, we get free breakfast every morning and FREE UNLIMITED ALCOHOL everyday during cocktail hour. Also, since we're on our Honeymoon, they gave us a free 4-course honeymoon dinner, which we took advantage of on the second night. 
So let's talk flights. 21 hours, guys. TWENTY-ONE, and I wanted to die. (But total hours of travel was about 32.) I HATE flying, not because it scares me, but because I get sooooo antsy having to sit in the same damn spot for so long. We flew Emirates, and were in Economy for the first 16 hour flight, since upgrading to Business Class (with the beds,) was an additional $9,000. Uhhh k bye... Then we had a 7 hour layover in Dubai, which everyone was like "omg, Dubai?! How cool!!" Yeah, no, total opposite. Firs toff, who wants to sit in an airport for 7 hours after a 16 hour flight? Second, human trafficking is apparently a big thing there, and their airport is madness, so I was tripping ballz and told Cody not to leave me alone. lol. (I watch too many documentaries.)
Anyway, for our second flight, we did have business class, because they had a promotional offer and it was like $300 extra, NOT 9k, lol, so we were like uhhhh yes sign us up. (Technically Cody did it for me as a surprise.) That flight was 4 hours. Then we got to the Malé airport, and we were there for about 2 hours until we finally got on our last flight, which was a water plane, and was only an hour. Then we were FINALLY at the island we were staying at! 
Our time here has been really fun. A lot of people asked what there is to do on the island, and it's honestly like being in Hawaii, in a way. It's not like you're stuck in your villa all day, every day. We went kayaking, paddle boarding, jet-skiing, took wave runners an hour out into the ocean and we saw at least 20 dolphins, hung out by the pool, went to the underwater restaurant, and we went snorkeling. And just like Hawaii, you run out of things to do eventually. We were here for 7 days, and by day 5, we were like, ok, it would be nice to be home now. We still had activities to do, we just didn't feel like doing anymore, lol. The hotel here/island, also offers like 7 more water activities to do, which seem really cool, but I feel like no one has ever done them ALL, so we felt pretty accomplished after doing as many as we did. Now... will we come back here in the future? No. It's more of like a "I've been there, it's beautiful, and I'm glad I went," but it's not a place we'd travel 26 hours for again. We're already dreading the 3 flights back tomorrow. (none are direct.) Did we love it? Yes! Not many people can say they've stayed in a hut over the ocean, and that has definitely been on our bucket list. We enjoyed everyday, and thought it was such a beautiful place.
