It feels SO good to be back home in LA after 3 flights to get back from our honeymoon. I now see why more people are starting to push their honeymoons further down the line after their wedding, rather than going directly after the wedding. We were SO exhausted the day after our wedding, and even though we left two days after, we still felt like we didn't get enough time to just calm down, unpack from the weekend, open some gifts we got, and relax before we had to leave. We didn't even pack the night before because we were so tired and just basically went to bed once we go home. The afternoon we were leaving for the honeymoon, we were running around like crazy trying to pack everything, and of course... I forgot my hair straightener and sulfate free shampoo. (Since I have extensions I can't use shampoo with sulfate, which like ALL shampoos have, so that was great, lol.) Since we were on an island, I had no place to buy any shampoo, so I texted my friend who does my hair (also was my bridesmaid,) and she said it was ok to use regular shampoo, but just not to wash my hair everyday with it, so it kind of worked out lol. But I was still pissed I forgot my shampoo! Moral of the story, don't pack the day of your honeymoon, and maybe even wait a week to go after your wedding? lol.
Alright, enough about that, and onto FALL!!! It's funny, if you look at my instagram feed, it's like all swimsuits for a few rows and then straight into fall looks. lol. But I'm so excited to start bringing out some fall pieces again (even though it's going to be like 85 degrees all week here.) I finally had my first pumpkin spice latte of the season and I fell in love all over again. I also tried the Maple Pecan latte, which I really liked and will get every once in a while so I don't get over the PSL too quickly. Oh!! Before I forget to mention it (since I literally just thought of it, so that's why I'm abruptly bring it up out of nowhere...) I will FINALLY be doing my living room reveal this week! This collab with Living Spaces has been in the works since January, and I just got the rest of the pieces I needed in, including a completely different rug and coffee table, which I have not shown on social media yet, so I can't wait to share the space with you guys!! Now back to the outfit, and my last thing about it: The jeans I'm wearing are 40% off right now!
