The other week, Cody and I shot around Beverly Hills, to give you guys some more city like posts, and one of the places I wanted to shoot at was The Beverly Hills Hotel. It is one of my favorite hotels, not only because of the pink, white, and banana palm interior, but also because of the history the hotel has. This hotel was the FIRST thing built in Beverly Hills, before Beverly Hills was even a city. If you look up pictures on Google, you can see this hotel when it was first built in 1912, with just dirt roads surrounding it. The hotel was actually named after a farm in Massachusetts, called The Beverly, and it wasn’t until a few years after this hotel started bring in more people to the area, that the city actually became “Beverly Hills.” I love looking at all the old pictures because this hotel is literally the definition of “Old Hollywood Glamour.” I mean, just look at THIS picture from the hotels instagram account. It’s an old photo of everyone arriving to an awards show. The hotel has since gone through renovations, of course, but you still feel the history there. I’ve eaten and been here multiple times, but have yet to actually stay. So I will definitely be taking a “stay-cation” very soon!
I also thought it would be perfect to shoot this outfit here, specifically. This dress from the  London Times Spring Collection by Maggy London, totally gives me that “Old Hollywood Glamour” feel.
