Cody and I got to Seattle on Saturday and we’re flying home today. We both had never been and it was a place on our travel list, so… we went! Since he has been traveling so much the past few months for work, he was able to get me a companion pass for Southwest, so whenever I fly with him, I get to fly for free! We did a lot of walking around on Saturday night, but saved most of the exploring for Sunday.
We ate breakfast at Storyville Coffee, which we LOVED. Saw the original Starbucks, but got coffee at a different Starbucks so we didn’t have to wait in the long line for the other one. Walked around Pike Place Market. Tried to take a picture of something and a worker asked me if I was from California, and I said yes, then he goes, “Let me guess, Orange County?” and I said “Yep! Grew up there, and currently live in LA.” And then he told me how much he hates LA, and I was just like…. ok, great, I don’t think I asked? lol. I didn’t say that, but he spent like 10 minutes telling me how everyone there is fake and how he grew up there, and how sad it makes him when he goes back because everything’s different. lol. (Cool story, bro.) He was acting like he was some 80 year old man who lived there before technology, but he was my age, lol. ANYWAY! After that, Cody and I went to the Monorail and took it to the Space Needle, hung out there for a bit, and then went back to the hotel before getting dinner to defrost.
