The living room is finally done!! (Here's is what my living room looked like last year.) This year, being that I'm at a different apartment, I kind of got to start over with decor. Last year was all black, gray, and white, which I ended up doing for my bedroom this year. When I first moved into this space, we originally had painted the wall more of a mauve/pinkish color, that really just looked like straight up salmon, and I hated it. So I decided to go with a more beige/neutral color that would still go with the white sofa and to change it up a bit, since I already had the black and white in the bedroom. I thankfully had Living Spaces to help me fill this space up with a new feel and my most recent piece, which I mentioned on Monday, is the area rug! I first had a black one in this space, which I shared on instagram a few times, but it just didn't feel or look right to me, but I couldn't put my finger on it... until I replaced my old coffee table and realized I didn't have to keep changing other things with the living room, or keep moving things around, the rug just didn't look right. So this gem made it's way in here over the weekend and it absolutely completed the space. I love the way it all turned out, and since it's now Fall, I added in the copper leaf candles from Living Spaces as well. All in all, the living room this year gives off a much warmer feel, and I'm loving it.
