Perfect Timing.

First, I must give myself credit for capturing this picture while driving on the freeway! Not only that, but I wasn’t even looking while taking the picture because I was actually still looking at the road. lol

I came across this quote on Pinterest, of course, and it instantly reminded me of my impatient self. For those of you who arrive fashionably late to places, I guess this quote could also apply to you if you think about it. haha. BUT obviously, it’s referring to your journey through life.
I, just as many of you out there want everything yesterday, or right now, but life just doesn’t work that way. We all have our goals and dreams, and it’s probably something that’s going to take you a while to reach, but that’s the whole point. Of course, we would all love to reach our goals the minute we come up with them, but if we reached that goal right away, without any hard work, then you wouldn’t really have anything to be proud of yourself for in the end. The journey to our goal is what makes our goal that much more exciting once we reach it. There are so many things that we must learn on our way that we could have never learned if we got everything once we asked for it.
Everything will happen in its right time, and just as the quote said, not a moment sooner. God has our life all planned out, which is what we all too often forget. There is no need to rush to reach those goals of ours, because God will allow it to come about when we are ready. Trust that God is helping you get to where you need to be, at the time you need to be there.
I remember being so impatient, which I still am at times, about reaching my goals. I continued to think that because it was taking so long, that I was never going to reach them. But I have reached quite a few of them, which I never thought was going to happen. It took a few years, but it happened. And that’s when I realized all of the lessons I learned along the way, and thanked God for the amount of time it took.

Be thankful for all that you have learned thus far in your life, even if you’ve encountered situations you didn’t particularly like. It is all part of the plan to get you to where you’re going.
“Your journey has molded you for your greater good, and it was exactly what it needed to be. Don’t think that you’ve lost time. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. And now is right on time.” – Asha Tyson
