So this weekend, October 3rd, I turned 24! Still young, I know, but after my 21st birthday, I kind of stopped getting excited for them. lol. This time around, I was just like, holy ****, when did I get here? Each year just keeps on passing me by! I swear, it still feels like I turned 18 like 2 years ago.. But 6 years ago?! It honestly creeps me out. haha. Cody asked me over and over for about two months straight what I wanted to do for my Birthday, and I would never fully answer the question. I would somehow divert the question. lol.
On Friday, Cody made me breakfast, which you can find the photo of on Instagram. He made waffles, went to Starbucks to have my coffee ready, had a bowl of captain crunch cereal, and a bowl of yogurt with bananas, strawberries, and granola all set up. Now for the waffles… I only like whipped cream if I’m getting Starbucks, so Cody put whipped cream on my waffles, just because he knew I would be taking a picture of the breakfast, and it would make for a better picture… and he had the second set of waffles ready on the side with no whipped cream for me to eat for after the picture. lol! He does know me well. We went back home shortly after and went to dinner that night. Then Saturday, Cody, along with some of my friends, and I went out to dinner. And lastly, on Sunday, we went out to lunch with my family and Cody’s family. So it was a nice weekend!
