I don’t remember the last time I went without liquid lipstick on for a blog post. The two main ones I usually always switch off between are, Trap by ColourPop Cosmetics or Dubai by OFRA Cosmetics. Dubai is a more neutral color, so I wear this one on an almost daily basis. Actually, I rarely leave my apartment without it on. I used to be like this with Trap, but Dubai has easily become my number one favorite.
ColourPop liquid lipsticks are just as great as the liquid lipsticks from Anastasia. Super long lasting and won’t come off by touching it. OFRA’s Liquid Lipsticks, on the other hand, come off very easily, but as long as nothing touches it, not even the swipe of your finger, it will stay on. While I do love how ColourPop lasts and stays on, (can’t even take it off with a tissue,) I use Ofra as my everyday one because I can easily take it off with a tissue once I get home and want to relax. And if I’m out for most of the day and want to reapply it, I easily can… With ColourPop, if you don’t have makeup remover handy, don’t even think about trying to take it off to re-apply. My main reasoning for needing to reapply is because I desperately need to re-apply some chapstick underneath.
As far as application and the look of both lipsticks, I think ColourPop is better. As I mentioned above, it applies and looks just as if it were an Anastasia product. Not only that, it’s only $6! OFRA’s liquid lipsticks are $20, just like Anastasia’s, but they have better shades than ColourPop, and more of a variety. Either way, I love them both, and will continue to restock on both colors each time I run out!
Gorgeous colours, I also really like the dresses you are wearing, so pretty! Sophie x
