Last Friday, October 2nd, Daniel proposed!

For years, I'd roll my eyes at the whole "when you know, you know" thing... but I can now say that saying is 100% true when you find the person you're meant to be with. If you're new here, Daniel asked me to Homecoming when we were sophomores in high school. Had classes together every year, but never actually dated. (He did write in my yearbook senior year to call him one day, though. LOL) Once we graduated, we didn't see each other for TEN WHOLE YEARS. Then God made our paths cross again. On our first date, our past relationships were talked about. I said I did not want to get married again, and he didn't want kids. But that all changed FAST. I can't wait to be his wife and we can't wait to have all the baby blondies. haha.

We had dinner plans with some friends to celebrate both of our birthday's. Daniels was September 24th and mine was October 3rd, so we planned on October 2nd being our "conjoined" b-day dinner. Once we got there, my best friend, Austin (who you all may know from my instagram, lol) came out of nowhere... He is currently in law school at Notre Dame. So he did a little surprise fly in! And then within the first 10 minutes or so of us being there, Austin told Daniel to make a toast, and the proposal happened! Austin had a photographer at a table adjacent from us, who took photos while Daniel proposed. It was seriously perfect. He literally was at the table eating a soup, waiting for the moment to happen so he could stand up and begin capturing the moment. He then took our little group outside for some photos, and we went back inside to have dinner. After dinner, we went to my friend Steven's house, where there was an engagement party/birthday party for me with my friends and family! Most of us were there until 2 in the morning, lol. Seriously, it was the best day/weekend!
